Cristina MANOLACHE
President, Co-founder
Cristina has a PhD. in Political Science from the University of Bucharest. She holds a BA in Political Science in English (2009), as well as one in Law (2013). In 2011 she graduated from the MA program in Comparative Politics in English at the University of Bucharest, Faculty of Political Science as valedictorian. Given her double degree, she dedicated her MA and PhD. studies to a comparative analysis of constitutional courts as juridico-political institutions, focusing on their role in solving the conflicts between public authorities. Her main research interests are comparative constitutionalism, semi-presidentialism and government studies, as well as European and Human Rights law. She has published several works on these topics and attended numerous conferences and workshops. Starting from 2012 she initiated and coordinated several academic events for the Doctoral School of Political Science and the academic journal "Tineri cercetatori: Abordari multidisciplinare" with Anamaria Gheorghe. In late 2014 she started working on the RAYS project which she subsequently implemented at the begining of 2015 with Anamaria Gheorghe.

Anamaria Elena GHEORGHE
Vicepresident, Co-founder
Anamaria holds a PhD. in Political Science from the University of Bucharest. She posesses a BA in Political Science (2008) and one in Law (2015). She graduated the International Relations MA program at the Faculty of Political Science, University of Bucharest in 2010. Her study interests include international relations, foreign policy, with a focus on the former Soviet area.

Irina BONCEA
Director of the Education & Career Department
Irina Boncea holds a PhD. in International Business and Economics (Bucharest University of Economic Studies, 2015), a MA in Business Administration (Bucharest University of Economic Studies, 2011) and a BA in Business Administration (Bucharest University of Economic Studies, 2009). She has published 10+ articles in scientific journals on the brain drain topic and attended 15+ national and international conferences. She was a DAAD Scholar in Germany. Her research interests include international migration and brain drain.

Petre BIOLAN
Director of the Projects Department
Petre holds a BA from the Technical Military Academy, Faculty of Telecomunications (1999-2004) and has graduated BA studies in Law (2014). He has a rich professional experience in public procurement and has worked for the Ministry of National Defense (2006-2001), Romtelecom (2011-2014) and OMV Petrom (2011-currently). His main academic interests are administrative law, commercial law and contracts.

Sabrina SOTIRIU
Director of the Communication & PR Department
Sabrina is a Doctoral Candidate with the School of Political Studies at the University of Ottawa. Sabrina’s research interests include nationalist movements and their usage of social media channels to construct and promote national identities, and more broadly, the overall influence of the web 2.0 revolution on politics and the changing nature of diplomacy. Her past research has covered Western European nationalist parties and their ideological stances, and respectively their relationship with devolution efforts/campaigns, as well as the accommodation of ethnic minorities in federal and unitary states.

Mihaela ALBU
Projects Consultant
Mihaela holds a PhD. from the Faculty of Political Science, University of Bucharest, with a MA in European and Romanian Politics, and a BA both in Political Science and Law. Her thesis presented a comprehrensive account of comparative indicators of local political communist elite conversion at the sub-national level. Her main research interests are elite studies, european studies, public administration, European funds management, rural development and comparative politics. She published a couple of articles on local public administration, local elite, democratic consolidation, europeanization. As work experience, she was Consultant on European Funds, and other financing opportunities through Ministry of Finance and others. The main tasks were the preparation of complete documentation on accessing funds, develop procurement budgets in compliance with customer needs, sending and resolving subsequent clarifications requested by the Managing Authorities, Intermediate Bodies, Implementing Units.
Silviu PETRE
Silviu is researcher with the Center for East-European and Asian Studies within NSPSPA, Bucharest. Since October 2013 he holds a PhD title with a thesis about India’s quest for regional hegemony. His research interests are: theories of international politics, security studies and South Asian geopolitics.

Bogdan-Florin NAE
Editor RRYR
Bogdan holds an LL.B. from the University of Bucharest and is a member of the Bucharest Bar Association. He currently works in the Bucharest office of an international law firm, where his practice spans a variety of fields of law and industries. Bogdan is greatly passionate about international law (from human rights to private international law), with a particular focus on international dispute resolution, having been involved in a number of research projects and authoring several papers published in peer-reviewed legal journals. Besides his fascination with international legal theory and practice, he is also interested in international relations, economics and policy.
